174 days 💔 The world has failed Ralph, but he’s not giving up, even after waiting over 100 days for a family. Ralph checks all the boxes: ✅ Good with dogs ✅ Loves car rides & adventures ✅ Knows commands ✅ Kisses his BFFs 💋 Ralph came to us from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control on a life saving transport in November. It’s all up from here ❤️ When Boone wandered up to a community cat caretaker, she could hardly believe her eyes. Luckily, he came to the right person for help. She offered Boone food, and he scarfed it down. This boy had clearly been hungry for a while. After his meal, she brought him to us for medical treatment. Boone is suffering from sarcoptic mange, an uncomfortable but very treatable infection. With medication and lots of love, he’ll look like a whole new cat soon. Boone isn’t ready for adoption yet, but he would love a foster home where he can recover for a few weeks. Sign up to foster on our website! Already a foster? You’re safe, Tony 🧡 Tony was found stray with a punctured eye and several skin wounds. X-rays show a bullet fragment in his head. Despite all he’s been through, Tony knows that his caretakers are helpers, and he shows us only love. Tony’s injured eye sadly couldn’t be saved. The before pictures are too graphic for social media - but trust us, it wasn’t pretty. He’s feeling so much better without it. Thanks to our medical team for taking great care of Tony! It’s our 100th Birthday! 🧡 100 years ago, 8 ladies met in Palm Beach, determined to help animals left behind by seasonal visitors. They incorporated The Animal Rescue League. A century later, our organization has grown with our city to serve animals throughout Palm Beach County. Through adoption, spay/neuter, medical services, and our pet food bank, Peggy’s Pantry, we have now served over 1.5 million animals. Here’s to the next century of lifesaving! 🎉🧡
