Hot take: I think the 4” granite backsplash is just a builder’s shortcut disguised as ‘high-end design.’ It’s solid, sure—but was it really just a way to skip tiling a complete backsplash all the way up? 🤔 Time to rip it out and do it right! I planted star jasmine 18 months ago dreaming it’d cover this pergola we built… it didn’t. Not an inch. 😂 So I ripped it out, moved it, and planted Carolina jessamine instead (which I thought was the same thing… it’s not). Fingers crossed for blooms this time!
