Oh no! I guess I have to go right to sleep!🤭😜 I can’t tell you the last time I had a full, uninterrupted night sleep.😴 I am running on fumes these days.🥱 If it’s not one of the twins waking up, it’s one of my older kids coming into our room bc of a bad dream or wanting extra snuggles🥰 I keep telling myself it’s only temporary, and I’m going to miss this when they’re older…..but right now I’d love some rest 🤪 It’s really a self-inflicted issue though bc I know if I asked my hubby to get up & let me sleep—he would. I just really enjoy being there for each of my kids to cuddle them and love on them when they need me.🙏 …. But then every morning when my eyes are all bloodshot and burning I wish I had kicked my hubby to get up w the kiddos.😆😂 In all seriousness though, I thank God I get to have four precious kids to keep me up all night! When I signed up to be married at first sight I was desperate for love and family🙏 ..I mean, who legally marries a complete stranger without being a little desperate?!😜🙋🏼‍♀️😅 The only relationships I witnessed growing up were filled with abuse, jail time, and cheating so I’ve always had major trust issues while dating.🫣 My trust issues had me running for the door at the first minor red flag I’d see… which I justified with “I’m clearly dodging a bullet!”💯 That may have been true, but I never let anyone in fully bc I was so scared to be hurt… That got me nowhere & I knew it, but I didn’t know how to open up and trust …. so when the producers of married at first sight called and asked if I wanted help dating by experts (it wasn’t supposed to be marriage!), I went for it!💯 I was desperate for love and family. I so badly wanted someone who I could count on to be my rock, to spend the holidays with, to vacation with… just to do life with.🙏 I went 100% in & gave it my all, but when I began walking down the aisle to this stranger hubby (I seriously knew NOTHING about him!) I PANICKED. I had no feelings of “love” or any “chemistry.”😳 I thought I made a HUGE mistake.🤦🏼‍♀️ Ohhh, if I could go back and show young Jamie how well it’d all turn out.🙏🥹🙏 It definitely hasn’t always been easy, but 11 years later and there is absolutely no one I’d rather live this life with.💯🙏❤️ I love you, @doughehner! Last night felt like a disaster.🤦🏼‍♀️😩 I was sitting down pumping before sleep like I always do. I thought it’d be smart to pump directly into our glass bottles bc they hold more milk (less dishes to clean👏) … welll, one got loose and all 8+ ounces of my milk spilled all over my legs and mattress!😭😩😭 That was a full feeding for one of my twins…GONE.😢 If I didn’t have formula as back up I’d have been even more distraught.💯 Doug was the absolute SWEETEST hubby.🙏 He ran right in and grabbed a towel to soak it up and then held me while I cried.🥺🤪 I know in the grand scheme of things spilling a full bottle of breastmilk isn’t that big of a deal🤪 …but it literally felt *awful* last night.😅 I’m sharing this for the moms who cry over something that other people think is “silly.” If that’s you - girl, you’re not alone.🤪😅 #momsofinstagram #breastfeedingmom #twinmom #breastfeeding #dontcryoverspilledmilk #unlessitsbreastmilk OR #expensive #formula 🤪😆

Oh that’ll never work out!”👀… NGL, I even doubted our marriage🫣 but holy fkn airballs, look at us now🤗👏 11 years, 6 pregnancies & 4 living babies later, we are still married.👏💕 It feels so cliche to say “and we’re more in love now than ever before” but that’s so true for us.🙏 I mean, we were complete strangers on our wedding day.🤪 There was no love, just some hope that this could work and A WHOLE LOT OF FEAR that it won’t work out and we’d be ruining the sanctity of marriage!🫣 Then we met and there were no sparks or any chemistry for me. I thought I made the biggest mistake of my life, but I stuck it out bc I trusted the process & the experts on married at first sight.🙏🏻 We had only one way to go: UP!🤪🤣 And with my hubby having the patience of a SAINT, up we went!🎉 We didn’t consummate our marriage until we were married for about 2 months. When your hubby wants to stop at 3 kids but you want more - you pray for twins so you can at least get 4!😉🙏😆 It’s not my fault we have all these babies!🤷🏼‍♀️ I only prayed the egg would split, but God made it happen! When I was my kids age I was visiting my step dad in jail.🫣I remember walking through a metal detector praying it wouldn’t go off.🙏 Then when I got through I was so nervous bc I had to stand still so they could glide another detector of some sort over my whole body.👀 I didn’t understand it then, but now I know they were making sure I wasn’t sneaking anything inappropriate in for their inmate….my “dad.”🤷🏼‍♀️ But we never did! My mom would gather his favorite books & snacks to bring him…the man who had just threatened to take her life. When my mom finally left her abuser (👏!) I remember NEVER wanting to get married.🙅‍♀️ The only problem was that I definitely wanted kids & I knew how babies were made.🙃 I was taught it was a sin to do that without being married so I figured I’d get married, have babies, then get divorced …. This way I would never go through the abused I saw my mom go through. God stepped in and had other plans for my life.🙏🙏🙏 He gave me the most patient, loving, and KIND husband @doughehner …I’ve never once had to cower down to his fist or weapon….. little me didn’t even know an easy, steady, trustworthy love like this existed. I’d never been exposed to it. Im so thankful to hear my kids complain about us kissing in front of them — when I was their age I was complaining about having to go to jail to visit my “dad.” If you’re stuck in a relationship where you feel anything less than fully loved & supported, I just want you to know you don’t deserve to be treated that way. One day I hope my daughter only accepts a man who treats her as well as her daddy treats her mommy. I’VE MISSED YOU!!!💕 I feel so REJUVENATED after taking a lil social media detox!🌱I’m so glad to be back tho!🤗 SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED since I went off the grid… 1)The twins are 7 months old & sitting up on their own now!🥹 No teeth yet which is fine bc they love to tug and bite when nursing.🤪 They’re doing so much better at sleeping through the night too! Last night they slept from 8:30pm-5am!!!👏🙏😴 2)Gracie girl lost her second front tooth and she’s just the cutest little thing with a big ol’ hole in her smile!😆❤️ She wrote the sweetest note for the tooth fairy … but for some reason the tooth fairy forgot to show up the first night she put her tooth under the pillow?! Crazy bc I never thought the tooth fairy ever missed a night!!!🤦🏼‍♀️ We told her that she must be VERY busy & we should be patient and wait for her. I can’t believe I’m even taking a pregnancy test right now.😳 I’ve been so overly emotional and exhausted lately so I finally sent Doug to the dolla store to grab a pregnancy test, just to see if pregnancy is the reason..🤷🏼‍♀️ After years and years of trying to conceive and begging God to give me a baby it feels so odd to not be hoping for two lines, but instead hoping for the opposite.🫣 I feel so stretched thin as it is with my four kiddos and if I am pregnant I don’t know how I could be there for them all?!? After all the feels and going back and forth in my head with both scenarios…the pee went through & only one line appeared, Negative. Biggest sigh of relief…🙏 Honestly It feels like I just had my twin baby boys. My body and mind are still catching up so it’s a lot to imagine another little baby needing all of mommy’s attention. Henley’s been asking for a baby sister for so long though. She’s the only girl and maybe one day God will bless her with a sister??? But definitely not right now.🤪😆 Aaaand Doug would probably say never😅 Anyone else get overly emotional while breastfeeding? I don’t know if it’s that with the nursing hormones or maybe I’m just PMSing? Not many people know this, but I had custody of my younger siblings when I was in college.❤️ I was a freshman when my 16 year old sister and my 14 year old twin brother and sister got off the bus to come live with me. I was only 19. We were just a bunch of kids and I was trying to raise them the best I knew how….but I didn’t know how.🤪 In a lot of ways I feel like I learned how to parent when my younger siblings came to live with me.😅 I don’t know if I ever would have become a nurse if it weren’t for me having all three of my younger siblings living with me.🤔 I remember being so poor and eating from the free food pantry bc that’s all I could afford for us all. I went to the career counselor at my community college and asked what type of job I could get within the 2 years there bc I didn’t have 4+ years to go to college before I could start making more than minimum wage to provide for us all …. She told me I could try to apply to nursing program but it had a wait list & was very difficult to get in. I got in the next semester.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 Nursing school was HARD. Nursing as a career is HARD. I have a soft spot in my heart for night shift nurses especially bc it’s HARD!😴 I’m no longer working in the hospital at the bedside, but once a nurse always a nurse!💯👩‍⚕️ Nurses appreciation week is this week (well, it was actually last week and I’m late by a week. I blame my two babies under 1 year old bc I’m so sleep deprived🤪😅) I want to honor and love on some nurses bc they’re really the most loving, selfless souls!🙏🏻❤️ I am Sending FIVE nurses AND their favorite nursing partner to dinner on me!!!🎉🎉🎉 If you know a nurse - head to my I G and tag them on this reel & share why they deserve to get dinner! BIG NEWS!!🎉 Did you see it?!🤗 Hawkins (baby A) popped his very first tooth last night!!🦷 Huxley is trying to, but in true Baby B fashion he follows right behind his twin & makes the milestones second.😎❤️ I’m soaking up all these gummy smiles as long as I can bc my babies are starting to get their teeth!🤗 With all of the twins’ firsts I am mourning that it will be my last time experiencing my children’s very first milestones.🥺 I’m so thankful I have twins bc at least I get to experience it twice in a row with my last babies.🙏❤️🥰 So thankful that tooth came through bc it was hurting my sweet hawkers! To the man who made me a mama, I watch you with our kids and I fall more & more in love with you.💯🙏❤️ As a child I grew up wondering if I was truly loved. I thought my mom for sure loved me, but I wasn’t certain about my “dad.” Turns out he didn’t. …it heals my heart to know without a shadow of a doubt our children will never have to wonder if they are loved by their daddy.💯🙏❤️ You know I grew up not knowing who my real father was and I was terrified of my stepdad.🙈 He was in and out of jail. I watched him physically and emotionally hurt my mother over and over again. It put so much fear in me. All of this to say, thank you for being the exact opposite for our children!🙏 There’s no better feeling than knowing my children are growing up with the most loving, kind, patient, FUN daddy!
