For Valentines Day, Netflix went all out giving fans a new look at Season 4, with stills and a sneak peek trailer teasing what’s to come. The fourth season revolves around Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson) who falls in love with the mysterious Lady In Silver at a masquerade ball, not knowing that the Lady In Silver is in fact Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), a maid. When season 3 of HBO’s ‘The White Lotus’ premiered, fans were outraged that the iconic war cry, or the ‘ooh-loo-loo-loos’, were missing from the season 3 theme song. Well it turns out that this wasn’t composer Cristóbal Tapia de Veer’s decision, but rather show creator Mike White’s, and Tapia de Veer was not happy either 😱 For season 3, White wanted the theme song to sound like “background music… a song that is more like something you would listen to in Ibiza.” Tapia de Veer told The New York Times, “I texted the producer and I told him that it would be great to, at some point, give them the longer version with the ooh-loo-loo-loos, because people will explode if they realize that it was going there anyway. He thought it was a good idea. But then Mike [White] cut that - he wasn’t happy about that.” But that didn’t stop the ‘White Lotus’ composer from uploading the full version song with the iconic war cry on his YouTube channel, where fans mourned over the vocals not getting featured in the actual title sequence. It seems like this is the final fight between Tapia de Veer and Mike White as the composer announced that he would not be returning to the show for season 4. Awards season is slowly coming to a close and it looks a lot different to how it started. ‘Conclave’ took home Best Ensemble In A Motion Picture, the top film prize at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Meaning that it’s very likely that the film could come out on top for Best Picture at this years Oscars, it’s only main competitor being ‘Anora’. Timothée Chalamet won Best Actor, making this his first major acting award win and the youngest actor to win the award. In his speech Chalamet was upfront about his career goals, “I know the classiest thing would be to downplay the effort that went into this role and how much it means to me, but the truth is this was five years of my life. I poured everything I had into playing this incomparable artist, Mr. Bob Dylan, a true American hero.” He went on to say that he is in ‘pursuit of greatness’ and that winning the award gives him more fuel and ammo to keep going. Other surprises included ‘Only Murders In The Building’ winning its first two major acting awards, Kieran Culkin calling Adrien Brody out for making long speeches and SAG host Kristen Bell recreating ‘Challengers’ and ‘Gossip Girl’ with her previous Co-stars. Towards the end of the night, Jane Fonda received the SAG Lifetime Achievement award and spoke on the current political environment, stating that, “Woke just means you give a damn about other people.” The Oscars are in less than a week, and we think this years Awards season will have a grand finish. John Lithgow has officially confirmed that he will be playing Albus Dumbledore in the upcoming ‘Harry Potter’ TV series on Max ⚡️ In an interview with ScreenRant, Lithgow, who recently starred in the Oscar nominated ‘Conclave’, revealed that he was cast as the legendary Hogwarts headmaster. The 2025 Grammy awards were as always, monumental 🎶 Beyoncé won Best Album Of The Year for ‘Cowboy Carter’, making her the first black woman to win the award in the 21st Century, meanwhile Chappell Roan took home the award for Best New Artist. Kendrick Lamar became a 22x Grammys winner, taking home the Grammys for Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance and Best Music Video for his Drake diss track ‘Not Like Us’. His win went viral when the crowd began to sing the lyrics as the rapper went up on stage to accept the awards.
