Today is our last day in Spain. Tomorrow we fly back to the United States with 32 Galgos and 3 cats. We are still short of our goal to pay for transportation and all the costs that go into a rescue like this. Link is in bio. Please like. Share. Comment. Anything you can do to get the word out so we can put Pressure on Spain to change the laws. “In 2023, the Spanish Congress passed a national animal welfare law that specifically excludes hunting and working dogs, including Galgos, from its protection. This means that while other animals are protected under the law, Galgos and other working dogs are not covered by the same regulations regarding abuse and mistreatment.“. Spain Galgo rescue trip. Went to save 32 dogs. Ended up bringing 3 cats to a new home, 3 cats back to the U.S for adoption and 32 to Galgos back to the states. Still a lot of work to do in Spain but we will be back. #spain #galgos #catrescue #dogrescue @Sterling Davis
