Let me know if you’ve tried it! For 90 years, Khun Lakud Suwanprasop has been making handcrafted batches of Sriracha using the original recipe passed down through his family. Due to the fermentation process, only one batch is made per month. Even so, the shop still has a steady stream of loyal customers, young and old, eager to pick up a fresh bottle. I was lucky to meet his son when I visited, and he shared the history of the shop, telling me stories of old Bangkok and even how his father had to hide in the temple across the street during the bombings of World War II.
