DIY home upgrades that make all the difference!✨ It’s been four years since we moved in, and these upgrades have slowly transformed our space from builder-grade basics into a home that feels uniquely ours. Here’s a glimpse at some of my favorite projects: 🔨 Accent Wall: Adding bead board to the hallway was a game-changer! The dark paint created a beautiful contrast and added that cozy, custom feel—all with a simple install. 🔧 Kitchen Island Wrap: Our builder-grade cabinets were rough, outdated, and water-damaged. Wrapping the island in pine 1x4s gave it a more substantial, modern look, and fresh paint brightened up the entire kitchen! 🪞 Bathroom Refresh: Swapping out the builder-grade mirror for something more custom made a huge difference. Paired with a DIY concrete countertop and backsplash, the space feels polished and personal. These upgrades took time, but each one brought us closer to a home that truly reflects our style. ✨Dill Laminated Pasta✨ I feel like this is kinda giving festive vibes in a sort a fir/pine tree kinda way. I love laminating pasta. I think it’s so fun to play with herbs and they just press out different every time which is so fun to see the result. A very easy way to elevate a pasta dish. Here im using a basic egg dough recipe (see previous reel for measurements) then just fresh small picked pieces of dill. I roll out sections of my pasta dough to setting 4 on my pasta machine then I add a flat layer of herbs sandwiched/folded between the pasta. I use a rolling pin to make sure the herbs are stuck together and the dough is sealed. I go back to my machine starting at setting 2 then working my way back up to 5!
